Regulation training courses

This half-day, deep dive training course covers comprehensive documentary requirements, customs entries and port/airport procedures and documentation, proof of export, payment methods and documentation, full customs compliance, and HMRC audits. This course is perfect for sales, contracts, financial, procurement staff, as well as management charged with company compliance.

Understanding the complex world of product safety regulation both at the EU and global level. Much of the content will focus on EU harmonised regulation and compliance including but not limited to standards, testing, technical file compilation, CE mark affixing, market surveillance, and more. It will also provide an overview of product safety regulation globally, how this links to EU regulation and routes to compliance.

This introductory course focuses on the core imperatives of sustainability regulation being implemented across the EU via the Commission and globally via the ISSB, namely: circularity, waste, supply chains, decarbonisation, and greenwashing and their respective regulation and governance. It provides a detailed overview of the global regulatory framework, accompanying standards, and implementation timeframes.

CBAM regulation is complex and increasingly far reaching. This half-day course aims to help delegates understand carbon quantification, considering the various standards and schemes globally. Delegates will gain a practical understanding of establishing inventory boundaries; determining sources of data; applying emissions quantification approaches; and importantly, communicating and reporting carbon data.

The EU’s Ecodesign for Sustainable Products Regulation (ESPR) came into force on 18th July 2024. In this half-day session, delegates will learn about the regulation, its requirements, and how it interacts with other EU and global regulation, including but not limited to how the regulation relates to the destruction of unsold consumer products; the creation and maintenance of Digital Product Passports (DPP); how the regulation impacts EU public procurement; and more.

The EU’s Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation came into force on the 11th February 2025. In this half-day session delegates will learn about the regulation, its requirements, and how it interacts with other EU and global regulation including but not limited to: how it impacts on packaging labelling; about reuse and refill targets; about bans and restrictions of certain materials, formats, and substances; how it alters existing EPR requirements and fee structures; and more.
